Freelance Web Designer / Coder

We are looking for an exceptionally talented Freelance Web Designer. The ideal candidate for this role is self-motivated and will actively participate in the strategic vision of our web assets. Attention to detail, creativity, receptivity to feedback, time-management, exceptional information architecture design and patience with non-technical stakeholders are crucial to succeeding in this position.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in website design, graphic design or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of HTML/CSS/Wordpress
• 3 to 5 years of strong Flash and ActionScript Scripting skills
• 2 years of graphic design experience
• 2 years JavaScript and CMS experience
• Extensive E-commerce knowledge
• Thorough Adobe design and development skills (CS4)
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently
• Ability to conceptualize, present and execute ideas within a tight schedule
• Ability to work cooperatively and communicate well with non-technical personnel
• Up-to-date on contemporary web design, SEO, information architecture principles and techniques
• In-depth knowledge of site analytics and marketing CRM tools
• Effectively manage and catalog all graphic assets necessary for production

Preferred skills:

• Past experience in luxury resort/leisure industry
• Programming skills in PHP
• Familiar with any database management systems
• Worked in both Linux (Open Source) and/or Windows development environment
• Experience in web projects development life cycle

Freelance Mobile Application Developer

Kwik-IT is looking for a talented Mobile developer with experience building complex mobile applications. You need to have a passion for writing clean, standards-compliant code, and have a drive for innovation. Our projects include working on high profile experience, creating game changing and scalable experiences in the marketing and advertising space.

As a Mobile Developer, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Developing projects targeting mobile devices.

• Application architecture and planning.

• Working with project stakeholders to develop estimates.

• Actively participate in producing and cultivating ideas.

• Develop application test plans to ensure quality control.

• Learn and keep up with new technologies, impart and share wisdom with coworkers.

• Maintain and contribute to Kwik-IT's strategic and creative reputation.

Requirements:

• Primary or only developer for at least one successfully launched and currently available iPhone or Android application.

• Functional, working knowledge of Objective C/C and/or Java, plus HTML/CSS and JavaScript.

• Thorough understanding of Mobile platforms.

• Working knowledge of the web stack (database, app server, web server, browser.)

• Experience with RESTful web services for backend integration (one of: SOAP, JSON, XML-RPC, etc.)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver pixel-perfect implementations.
